    Went to try and fire up again yesterday, hit the start button and get nothing now. No click from solenoid or nothing.
    Kind of feel stuck at this point. I probably need to check the button and DESS...

    Going to be there 5 days. Is it OK to leave in saltwater at a dock for 5 days or shoul dI pull it out every day? Boat ramp kind of far away, so was wanting to leave it but not sure if thats kosher?

    Taking one of my skis (Seadoo SPark) to beach next week. Other than flushing after running and spraying down daily, is there anything else I should know? Will primarliy be in the intracoastal.

    Starter Solenoid on 99 GSX question

    Is this hookup correct with the starter solenoid?
    My bottom cable with the little wire on it as well goes to the battery and the top one goes to the starter.
    Does it matter which one is on top or...

    Here is where I am at.
    Had a ground wire floating in the rear from disconnected VTS, so I grounded that. Did not help.

    Ok. How do I test the switch and the mpem?
    can the switch be tested without splicing into wires?
    Also, I haven't tried again yet but the last time this happened, as soon as I hooked second battery...

    Mine do not line up perfect, there is a shift within carb that makes it so you cant get anythning very thick all the way through to bottom of seat. Must be small diameter. I got a thin punch on it...

    Soaking in PB overnight. Trying not to mangle top of seat but its so soft.
    Put grooves in it for screwdriver but on my got to move side to side a little.

    I am rebuilding dual Mikuni carbs in a 99 GSX Limited today and the seat on one of the carbs will not come out. Does anyone know any tricks? Yes the retainer screw and holder are out. Just stuck....
