Yes an 1/8 drill bit will do the trick, like I said carefully or you will drill through and kiss the adj screw.

I can't really say since I only rode it a few times with the first hood, the second hood did have to be heavily reinforced with carbon fiber to work and not flex.

It's not readily apparent on my build but that is actually a Team Butch lightweight hood on mine now. The first pic has both fixie hoods in it.

The adjustment screws are there or at least the low speed screws are , they are under tamperproof caps, you have to carefully drill through the caps unless you have a drill bit with a stop on it,...

you have more bolts in the center holding it on , there ae four 5mm allen heads with plastic collars around them so the allen wrench will grab onto them and you can pull them out with the allen...

I use right stuff silicone , it has more of a rubber texture than silicone or 5200 and it dries in 30 minutes
