My 2019 SXR 1500 has recently started randomly dying while riding (normally 1/2 to full throttle), but then starts right back up. I talked to the dealer and he suggested completely draining the...

Re: 1998 1100 stx fuel gauge

I just watched a video and now there's another way you can access the sending unit by removing the padding under the steering and glovebox area, then remove a few more screws holding the inner parts...

  7. Re: One cylinder at 0 compression, other at 135, what happened?

That line is your battery vent and has nothing to do with oil or fuel or operation of the craft. Pull the head and do a visual inspection.

    dash gauges don't work - 95 XP

95 XP, my gauges don't work

Trim gauge is dead, fuel gauge doesn't work (I know my sender is shot, so this one I understand), and IIRC, the other gauge is rpm?. It doesn't work either. I took...

set of carbs with linkages for a 720

Tired of messing with these corroded carbs. I could use a good set of 720 carbs, preferably off a freshwater ski, set up for a 720. Going into a 95 XP. Looking to spend around $100. Don't need...
  10. Re: Homemade Sponsons V 2.0 How to guide with Pictures

  12. Re: Accessing Bottom of Ski to polish why on trailer

  14. Re: ISO Seadoo 717/720 single carb with rotary valve cover.

Figured out the cause of my leak and fixed it. It was at the diaphram. Either I or the previous owner dropped the pto carb and it dented the metal where the diaphram cover goes so it didn't seat...
  15. Re: ISO Seadoo 717/720 single carb with rotary valve cover.

I think i've decided to fix the carb and put it back together following the information that Bill has provided. Thank you.
  16. Re: ISO Seadoo 717/720 single carb with rotary valve cover.

Thanks for the advice, Bill. You're a wealth of knowledge. My fuel leak isn't internal, it's external. Might be a micro fracture in the pump cover or something else, I'm not sure. I'll try to get...
  17. Re: ISO Seadoo 717/720 single carb with rotary valve cover.

From scouring the internet and reading up, it looked like the single carb setup provided a better bottom end while sacrificing a little top end. The problem I'm having is, that even after rebuilding...
  18. Re: 95 XP alignment question - cant figure it out

Re: Wtf is it w everyone wanting 4 strokes?

  22. 95 XP alignment question - cant figure it out

Picked up a basket case 95 xp last year with a spare engine out of a 96 HX. Both are 720 engines, but the spare engine came with dual carbs.

Re: Kawasaki 650sx Motor Mount Repair

I think I'm missing something. Good used motor mounts are like $20-$25 shipped for 4. That's around 5 bucks apiece. That's also probably less than the OP spent on the SS hardware and epoxy.
