    Re: Another 640 Tigersaki build

Interesting. Besides doing this conversion for novelty sake, is there some advantage of this engine over a Kawasaki 750? Just curious, I don't have any experience with these engines. Having one on...

Re: Krash 50 Cal Foot Rocket Rider Review

A buddy in my group, Brent, has one. In fact it used to belong to Zach Bright. It is a very interesting hull. In many ways, the grandson of a modded wave jammer. You can slide the ski around as much...
  4. Re: Has anyone tried it? Keihin 28 on a 440

I certainly would rather use the Keihin 28 vs any BN. Good call on this, if you move forward with it let us know how the performance is.

That Keihin is stock to the early 650s? I forget what size...

  6. Re: 701 Swapped Kawasaki SXR 1500 - Conversion For Kids

Very cool. I'm thinking of getting my daughter one of those inflatable battery powered ones to start. Figure while we are right there with her in the water it would be a good start. Interesting...

    Re: 550/650 conversion sx style

X2 driveshaft is used with the Rhaas pump swap because the pump is physically back further in the tunnel. For swapping between 550 driveline parts all you need is the 550SX shaft.

Re: Source for 90 OEM 650SX Decals

OEM decals in general for all years of skis are very hard to come by. Your best bets are ebay or find a local graphics place that can reproduce them. Several guys have reproduced graphics for X2s,...

Re: 750, will 800 cylinder fit?

The port timing on the 800 cyl is similar to the lime green head small pin. Middle of the road between low end (750sx cyl) and high end (big pin / pro cyl). To my knowledge that just made the...

    Re: Kawasaki SXI-R PRO 800

That's as close as I've got handy. You want to copy the destroyer tubbies, as is on the ski with the purple pads and SJ pole. That ski is in another state. Basically the tubbies are tangent to the...

    Re: 2015 Superjet Carb/Tune Question

Yep this is what happens with the SJs as set up from the factory. Lean for emissions, which can further be made worse by running 40:1 instead of 50:1 gas/ oil. Larger % of oil means leaner. In one...

Re: 750, will 800 cylinder fit?

The 800 cases are 750 big pin cases with additional finger cuts machined in for case porting.
  16. Re: 14 superjet freeride/freestyle recommendations

For freestyle with those bars, the steering will become way too slow. I believe its KP industries that makes a little steering adapter piece to bring the rod end closer to the nozzle pivot...

Re: 750SX jetting and impeller advice

Yep agreed on Solas. The only one I would ever use is the dynafly on 1100 builds or perhaps my 550/800 next time around. Beyond that Skats, in particular swirls, C75 big hub swirls, and Impros...

    Re: Kawasaki SXI-R PRO 800

No because they dont have the cuts stock the 800 cases have they are more restrictive. So when you do the full case mods to 750 cases there is more power to gain. Since 800s already have it they gain...

Good to know, thanks. And I definitely agree about the low end. But it's nice to blow the doors off some skis too sometime.

    Re: 550/800 conversions stock pump

Should be obvious but I meant expensive 550 impellers, not 750. A good swirl 750 impeller you can get for ~$150 or so. The high custom pitched 550 impellers are $300+.

    Re: 550/800 conversions stock pump

Nope not at all a stupid question. Is this a stock / limited 800 or ported? I ran a 550sx pump in my ski for a long time, and didnt' put in a ported 800 because I was worried about the impeller.

Re: 650sx with 750, WTB Parts, info
