  1. Re: What to look for if ski accidentally froze? And what temp would you think?

The only thing I've seen freeze and bust on the Kawi 4 stroke is on the exhaust bottom right by the rear mount bracket.
  2. Re: 98 GSXL Intermittent start cycling / loss of power

Woowie!! That front cylinder was running WAY lean. You need to do a full teardown to inspect and "feel" the condition of all the crank and counterbalance bearings.
  3. Re: 94 Polaris SLT 750 - MYSTERY CHECK VALVE [Screw / bolt]

Aaaahh, not broken then, maybe just dropped and unfound at the factory. Just grab another one and move on!!!
  4. Re: 94 Polaris SLT 750 - MYSTERY CHECK VALVE [Screw / bolt]

It's a broken off grease zerk from the PTO.

  6. Re: 2007 VX 1100 Cruiser Cranking not Turning Over with No Display

Most likely culprit is the security fob module. Second most likely is a flaky wiring harness.

Re: 2001 Yamaha gp1200r Idle gear replacement

They're not terrible bad. I just pull the exhaust off right around to the 4 bolt manifold joint. Remove plastic air intake crap. Unbolt the oil pump and lay it over by the carbs. Unbolt the front...

    Re: Seadoo HX rebuild

I like to think about any modifications as being a "package" deal. You wouldn't put a high rise intake and 780 Holley on a stock smallblock......Likewise you wouldn't put a stainless Borla exhaust...

If you're talking about the yellow-striped plug wire......many cycle shops or auto parts stores carry it. It's 7mm solid core, cloth covered. It comes in many different colors. You can dig out the...

Re: 98 ts 1000 l engine advice please

Sounds like some unknowns here. In my opinion, if you're going to keep it, just pull the engine for new crank seals and all new gaskets. Find whatever you're missing off ebay or something. Then have...

Any time I've needed a timing pointer I just wrapped a piece of stiff wire around whatever is nearby and line it up with a sharpie mark.

    Re: Seadoo HX rebuild

Depending on how radical you get with porting yes. With just basic 'butterfly' job on the intake I'd bet there is enough jet on a Seadoo to just open the high speed screw some.
