Re: 65u oil pumps on 63m

65u has a small drive shaft. Pv engine has the larger shaft. Im thinking that is right. The 65u im rinning is in a Venture hull, so not positive.

Aftermarket throttle wheel and install primer where you use choke cable spot. You will also have to make a spacer or change the shaft tab that goes it the crank shaft slot as it's to long to fit...

    Re: Carburator tuning.

Can't remember if you did the balance mod or not, anyway 105 low jets are what you should have. I found with 100 lows it didn't want to come back to idle like it should, real close a lean hang. I'm...
  5. Re: Help me decide which ski to buy 02 Seadoo RXDI or 02 Yamaha XLT800?

If you ever get a chance to ride a 65u that has had the carb rack properly tuned you'll throw rocks at yours.

The Bottom end I was referring to is when you first take off or hole shot.

Yes they go wfo if its a problem with cable. Could just need adjustment. Its marks for adjustment on the pump and arm.

You should run a little better in the power valve engines, a good Ashless...
  7. Re: Help me decide which ski to buy 02 Seadoo RXDI or 02 Yamaha XLT800?

Got to do the carb balance mod to get the 1200 to run right. If not they don't have the bottom end a 1100 does. The venture runs great bone stock.

    I like your thinking
  8. Re: Help me decide which ski to buy 02 Seadoo RXDI or 02 Yamaha XLT800?

You can get a bigger stick on mirror if your dead set on one of those two skis.

You can't beat a Yamaha 1100 Venture. Me personally, with your intentions, I would never own a power valve ski.
