    there is a MPEM check in the shop manual. It's as good as you can do without the shop tool

    I don't know.. but it seems like all that's left.

    The schematic is in the shop manual. I don't know how to bypass if off the top of my head. :dunce:

    have you tested the rev limiter?

    it's never ran 100%, so it has held up fine. I've never got it to run with without missing. a while back I found out the pickups in my fuel baffle were cracked and that's probably been my tuning...

    96 SPX is an X4 hull. If it has trim tabs... it's an X4. The SPX's were just last years XP in the early 90s, that's changed in 96 and the SPX stayed the same till 99 and the XP was a different hull...

    sure.. but you need the kind that is made for dual carbs, plus all the linkage. IDK if BN manifold would need to be changed either.

    oh... a GT.. so you do have the BNs then I guess if it's still stock.

    White had the SBNs

    I think your best bet would be to make a 91 XP type of set up. that will get you from 55hp to 56hp...

    I don't think that's enough HP. Upper 40s is about right.
    Just remember, that G1 hull is a lot thinner.

    oh.. it's an 800 hull with the wrong motor in it. Now we're making progress. Don't look at 95 specs.. that's the first year of the 720.. are ya positive it's even a 720?

    not much crossover between the two environments.


    there is a good troubleshooting section in the free shop manual you can run though. don't skip steps or go cheap if you want the ski to run well.

    start the ski... pull the cable on the oil pump so it goes to max but leave ski on idle. if more white some comes out.. it's working. the pump on a seadoo is pretty bullet proof. It's the plastic...

    You'll have to re-jet because you're getting more air. If you do that, you'll have to do other work to get the whole system to breath better. Just leave it alone unless you go all the way with it.
