Re: Polaris MFD display repair on Ebay

Update: I no longer repair MFDs (haven't done so in 8 years). And I am no longer affiliated with Greenhulk.net.
Sorry for the inconvenience. Good luck.

    Re: 1996 sltx pistons

It will work without having the holes in the pistons. Your carbs will be a little richer(more fuel) at wide open throttle.

My problem was exactly opposite, which caused a lean condition, and I...

I strongly suggest trying Randy at Watcon first. As he is an asset to the Polaris group.
Supporting him, and a few others, will keep us going for a long while.

    Re: 1996 sltx cylinder ??

I have two of those, but they need to be bored.

The 019's produced some good torque. But the 009/018's (same port specs) are good for rpm.

Why pay $80 for an adapter when you can buy a plug off an older ski and re-pin the 12 to an 8-pin.

I've done three myself, and advised3-4 people on how to do there own.

Yes, all the 700 cranks are the same.

Check for corroded grounds in the box.
Or, test the electrical stator. These are prone to failure in the older domestics.

Re: are polaris jet pumps interchangable?

The SL 900 is a long pump, yes?
These pumps are modular, so the stator section can be used from a 94-up.
The wear ring extension is from 96-up, as is the extended drive shaft.

  20. Re: NEED INFORMATION for Texas Championship Race this weekend at Texoma

I honestly don't remember where your house is. Doug drove that day.

But it's directly north of Dallas, at the state line.
  21. Re: NEED INFORMATION for Texas Championship Race this weekend at Texoma

Aaron, there'll be plenty of room.
It looks like I'll be leaving directly from Texoma to come home, so Doug will have to drive himself.
