    Itís the old style, so no spring... new build, fresh battery... clicks in to engage, then unlocks and spins free and as it spins down it engages again! Help!

    Yup, I've had Newmiller do two of mine. They always ran excellent and you know exactly what octane fuel to use. Send that flywheel off with it to get lightened as well.

    Naw just get a plastic tote, cover the motor in plastic, spray foam the bottom of the tote and let it harden. Set the motor down on that, spray foam some more... okay a lot more. Drill holes around...

    It’s a lot... especially running reserve lines. I bet it’s close to 25 feet to run everything, including return lines and running a new breather line up the handle pole.

    I ran into the same issues with my 15/20 solas... Mine was so bad I had to add the spacers and move the motor... Ran it like that for around 2 hours and then the impeller unscrewed itself and ground...

    It should be fine, a well tuned 38 Keihin cdk-2 can really rip with a nice pipe. The best bang for your buck will always be a stainless impeller... they are just such an improvement over the stock...

    Had a 550sx impeller unscrew itself. Initial hesitation and noise to shut off was maybe 10-15 seconds... and it ate a chunk out of the walls of the pump... had a lot of pressure forcing the drive...
