    First thing I would do is pull plugs and see if they look normal. Anywhere from black to tan with oily residue. If that checks out......try new ones.

    Yes, you can use the 657 engine, then bolt on all of your accesories. Including exh mani, intake, rv, carb, stator and flywheel.

    Did you try that pin and bearing on a different rod? Could be the wrong bearing. I got a Tigershark .25mm over kit once with .50mm rings.

    I beg to differ on that honing bit. I've honed the small end of dozens of rods, unless it was a new or "resized" rod. Nothing crazy, just a light hone to remove rusty needle bearing marks or burrs.

    That fuel wash pattern on the piston top is perfect! Sounds like your on the right track with repairs. Also, if battery voltage on a Polaris drops below 10.5v while cranking they WILL NOT fire.

    Pull the engine front cover off and lay it to the side. You can leave the oil pump bolted on. Then you can visually inspect the bendix for corrosion or rust. Take a pic and post it.

    That's no fun at all. You can cut away the sealant from the outside, scrub it with a scitchbrite pad, clean with brake cleaner, Run a bead of Ultra or Mega black sealant and hope it seals. OR........

    First check with a different gauge. Many times the gauge is off. I have 2 that are correct and 2 that aren't. You can pull off the head, it's o'ringed so there is no gasket and usually the o'rings...

    The fittings on the fuel switch get plugged just like on the carbs. If the filter oring goes bad it will suck air into the fuel supply=not good.

    I dont think that's sand. I think it's saltwater corrosion on the aluminum. I see it behind the starter in that pic also. No proper maintenance after riding in the salt hence.......your stuck pump.

    Did you dismantle the fuel switch and clean it out? Replace the filter cup o'ring?

    Well, if you don't have an exhaust leak then your stator is bad. I say that because it's a Kawi 750. VERY common on the older ones.

    For starters, the Ultra150 oiling system cannot be bypassed properly without dis-assembling the engine. There are counterbalance shafts front and rear of the engine that need oil !! Those cavities...
