    2011 GTI 130SE P0325 and limp mode

I had to limp back to the dock today as it threw the P0325 then a couple others. It cut out yesterday after a moderate jump but restarted quickly and threw the IBR code C2 111. Reverse did not work...

Re: PTO carb diaphragm - ever seen this ?( Wont start now...)

The SBT kit had been sitting unopened in my garage for almost 2 years, I ordered it in 2013 then tore carbs apart before it arrived, cleaned and reused all the old parts. Ran good since then.

    It...

PTO carb diaphragm - ever seen this ?

Just finished up gaskets and o-rings on both carbs (97 GTX). Ski started right up, but gas leaking from vent hole on pto diaphragm cover. Manifold cover, arrestor and airbox still off so caught it...

Re: carb filters on 98 SPX

All else aside, I believe the "constrictive" design of the intake is to channel away or keep out any water that may find its way into the hull (rolling over ...)
    Normally a considerable airbox...

    Re: 97 seadoo spx problems

Think I got 12 ft. of the black 5/16" fuel line from NAPA, had some left over. Wasn't hard at all but a little time consuming in some areas around the carbs.
Change all the easy ones first to get an...

    Re: 97 seadoo spx problems

Those gray lines have to go. They probably look like clogged arteries inside and will have pulled some of that green crap back into your good carb job.
Pop that fuel selector switch off and inspect...

Re: 97 GTX Water in crank case and pistons

I had heard about the towing and water issue, so last week when my son was towed in, first thing I did was pull plugs and crank it out. Luckily there was no water in there. When I first bought it,...

    Re: 97 seadoo spx problems

Maybe there is a fuel issue, the fuel lines and or carb filters may have some pluggage not allowing max fuel to carb. Have the lines been changed out and the carb taken apart ? When I did mine there...

Re: 97 GTX died while idling

Rechecked all harnesses, connections - good. Found blown 5A fuse in MPEM. Replaced and infocenter working but very hard to start and hold idle. Alot of white smoke, finally broke through and got...

    97 GTX died while idling

The boys had the GTX out in the gulf earlier and it died while idling. Was very hard to restart, finally did but only partial power (limp mode ?) Eventually died, wouldn't crank so they had to be...

    97 GTX Low Oil alarm

I noticed the infocenter red light blinking, never had it come on before. Everything seemed ok so I took it in for gas thinking maybe it was low. Fueled up went out and 10 min later it came on again...

Re: 97 GTX won't crank unless plugs are out

OK, the starter relay got here, just put it in and its great. So it was that and the neg cable on starter bolt hanging by a thread.
Thanks to all who offered input.

Now, if I can just get a title...

Re: 97 GTX won't crank unless plugs are out

Ok, tried that method several times with no luck. However...after a couple minutes of that, it actually cranked hard then kicked over the normal way. Not sure what this proves, only that the starter...

Re: 97 GTX won't crank unless plugs are out

So, attempt to start the ski normally then when it hits the first clunk pull a plug wire off, and jumper cable on the starter post and check for spark ?

Cranking good off starter post but won't turn over. Can't see a spark from the plug wires so maybe the coil in there is bad too ?

Re: 97 GTX won't crank unless plugs are out

    Yea,
I'm looking online to get that solenoid relay. The pos wire is good. Thanks for the help.
Still not sure why the plugs being in or out made a difference.

Re: 97 GTX won't crank unless plugs are out

Ok, that's done (cables and new battery).
Still same symptoms, cranks like crazy w/ plugs out. But now it will crank w/ plugs loosened up whereas before it didn't.
    Just repeated hard clunks w/...

Re: 97 GTX won't crank unless plugs are out

It will give 1 or 2 clunks each time you hit the start button. It will crank freely every time w/o the plugs. If you partially cover the holes w/ your fingers, it will stop cranking completely. No...

If that's the case, what would you attribute it to ? The current or a couple inches of water below ?

    Rolled the GTX

    787 Hard Start after riding
