I only see two different weight pop off springs, is that all there is or do you have a source for pop off springs? How about jet blocks??

Chris I get my Keihin jets from Atlantic Jet Sports. But yea a few places have them. The actual Keihin rebuild kits come with springs. Beyond that, I have never had to change a needle and seat yet.

Also to be clear, the good carbs were on 94 and 95 small pin ss xis and xirs. The rest of the dual 750 Keihins are not all good, the later (38mm?) ones off the big pin were smaller and I would dump in the trash. I did a quick check and it looks like the 96 ss xi switched to big pin / 12 bolt intake / smaller 2 jet Keihins.

So for those of you out there who are interested in Keihins, be careful which ones you get. You want the dual 40mm Keihin CDK2s off the original dual carb small pins for sit downs. They came on the lime green head engines, but may not be exclusive to those engines. Also of note the 95 sxi came with different, 2 jet versions of the original good 40mm Keihin CDK2s. That is a different topic entirely.

Even if i made a dummy move assembling them lol I'll see what happens with the 135, 55, 78 jetting and go from there!!!

Lol nice! It's all about figuring it out the issue, and you've made good progress.

Like I said, I would expect you to be rich now. See how it goes, ideally get a tach or gps and see where you're at.

Well I'm not sure what year mine came from, but they came with a small pin manifold so I'm guessing they are the"good" years you are talking about, now i just need the weather to cooperate so i can retest the ski!

Yeah it might be a tad rich, i guess we shall see, but it fired up great cold with a couple primer pumps then without the primer after it's warm it fires up easily so i must be close on the low side, I'll have to do some plug chops to get it close, it like you said get a tach

So i ended up with 5/8 turn out on the high screws and 1 5/8 on bottoms, it seems a bit rich... But when i go to give it throttle there is a bog i tried leaning the low end and it got worse, it wasn't a hesitation but a bog my pop off is about 25psi I'm thinking i need to maybe go back to a 72 low Jet? Think i should go back down to a 50 mid? The bog is right as i throttle to get out of the water, but after the engine gets ran a bit the bog goes away, these carbs are really starting to get frustrating lol I'm really close to going back to the oem 38mm that is like brand new that i have on the shelf.......:thumbsdow:thumbsdow

Yeah a hesitation would be like you're getting close to proper. Straight out bog is getting away from proper.
Both screws affect fuel delivery down throat. So , but you may still re-jet later, can you try 1-1/4 high and 1-1/4 low turns out.
Don't touch the high during next lake test at first, just do your increments on low screws.
    Just responding to above scenario..
