1995 Seadoo Xp nothing happening when start button pressed
As the title says. So I was working on the Ski. The exhaust manifold had come loose so I ordered all new gaskets and took it apart, cleaned it up and put it all back together. After doing so I made the grave mistake of connecting my battery cables backwards (very briefly) I realized this and corrected them. I went to start the skiÖ. Nothing. Iíve tried replacing the starter solenoid relay as well as the MPEM to no avail. It was running great before this, Iím so discouraged. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

    thank you!

    Did you check the fuses?

I checked the 3 fuses in the dry box that I’m aware of. I didn’t see any others around.

You also need to replace the rubber bushing that support the exhaust pipe. Those bushing wear out and then the gasket leaks.

I’ll certainly do that! Thanks for the heads up! First order of business is to make sure I can actually get it to even start again though.

Fuses and/or MPEM should correct if the MPEM is confirmed good. Really not sure what to tell you since the battery backwards can take out fuses and kill the diode in the MPEM.
