Anyone have their campsites reserved for Mason Freeride?

Just checking out some campsites right now trying to get things reserved for that weekend...curious if you guys all try to camp in one area as a group?

Also, I see that the sites pretty well cost a certain price per night and allow up to 6 people..does the price go up per person or just simply allows for that many people?

Also, with the firewood restriction...am I better off to just buy wood locally? It says you can still bring firewood but you must burn all of it before you leave?

Final question...what day does this thing run till? Is it a 2 day event?

Looking forward to this trip!

Check the AJC forum for campsite info. not sure what sites we have. doesnt matter if were in a group. just have to follow the campground rules for number of people allowed on one site

buy the local wood its not that expensive. plus it gives back to the locals

the event is one day only. june 12. but the ajc guys will be there from thursday - monday. many of us wont ride during our event, so we all ride the day after. once our event is over you are no longer considered an attendee and become general population and all rules apply.

glad your going to make the trip out looking forward to meeting you

Oh I have noticed. I have dealt with KO2 on a couple of occasions with parts and I always enjoy talking to him about the group up there.

Sounds like you guys have a great thing going! Im really looking forward to this trip..its only a few days before my Bday so its going to be my present to myself.

Re: Anyone have their campsites reserved for Mason Freeride?

nightrider05 ( Jason ) is a great guy. I have bought some parts from him this off season & we have become friendly. He is an honest stand up guy, with the same level of integrity as our group.

I told Jason if there were anything we could do in order to make his trip easier, just to ask, as our group is more than willing to help. Then without prompting, Bigfoot offers to do exactly that !
