Debres in Red River

Was out on the Red River just south of Shreveport, La. Saturday and there are logs, grass, trash and other stuff coming down from IKE. Might want to wait till next weekend to go out.

I vacation In Louisiana - mostly Baton Rouge area and would like to know of some ride spots. I went out to False River but it was kinda cold out and nobody was riding . Where do you guys ride - I ride a SXR and want to bring it with me next time ! I like the area but it looks like its better suited for airboats than jetskis ! Lake P-train looked nice but i didn't see any skis out there either ?

Re: Debres in Red River

I would ride with you lousiana guys,But I don't do gators!!! I was riding in Lousiana alot,a few years back,I was riding lake bisteno, camp joy, just east of shreveport,la.It got dark right after we loaded up,a guy pulled up to the boat ramp with his headlights shineing out across the lake & there were 20 sets of red eyes on that water that we just came out of !!!!!! I saw one of the gator's swim by the pier & it was around 12 to 14 feet long.I have not been back.
