Where to ride at Virginia beach?

I am taking a vaca at Virginia Beach from june 1-7 and want to take my skis with me. We are staying at a place called the colonies right on the main drag. Is there anywhere close, to take the skis and ride? Any info at all will help. Thanks!

Go down the stip to rudee, go over the bridge and a little bit down the road you will see a museum and a ramp in the right.

Sea Shore State Park on Shore Drive. That is where most people drop off and it's only about 10 miles down the road from you. ****ty thing is the speed limit from you to there is only 35mph and there is a street light at every block until you get past 80th street.

If you don't mind snakes you could try West Neck Marina. It puts you out on a small river that feeds to the ICW. Lots of wildlife...the natural kind like birds.
