OBX... closest thread I could find..

I'm going down to Virginia Beach this Friday and then going to north OBX near Duck Saturday morning. Anyone ride near there? Maybe somewhere in the Currituck Sound?

Is there anywhere to launch that will lead me to the ocean quickly or that I can launch straight from the beach? Thanks.

There is a park a few miles before you get to the bridge you cross over to Kitty Hawk has a nice ramp. I live in Grandy but my boats down

if you have a hand cart, i'd just do it quick like, I don't think there's a huge problem with it other than it's technically not entirely legal

Other than the fact it's a national park, you'll be fine, haha. If you're going to launch, be QUICK.

Only place i can think of you may be able to launch on the beach is north of Corolla.
You can drive on the beach there, but the Sheriffs Deputies on 4 wheelers may or may not say something to you. You can ask one of them once you get on the beach. Anywhere in the sound they dont have a problem with.
