Memorial Weekend River Ride

Wanted to let everyone know that for Memorial Day weekend we (me and Diceman) are going to be in Virginia with our X2s to ride the Chickahominy River again. We will be meeting up with several other riders including Scooteracing from here. Went last year and had a blast riding the trails along the river that wind around all over the place. It's perfect for X2s, stand ups, and Blasters but there were all kinds of skis there last year, I think about 14 in all. There's a great beach area to set up and have lunch, good for kids too.

If anyone is interested here is a map of the area where we will be riding and staying. There is a campground at the south end of the map by the Chickahominy Bridge. We'll be there from the 22nd thru the 25th. Come on out for some great riding!

On the map you can see the trails all along the river to the north. Let us know if you can make it, even for a day.

Are you guys staying at the campground? Can you launch there even if you are not staying there? I might be able to make it for a day.

We are staying at the campground Friday, Sat., and Sun. nights and I think you can launch from there even if your not staying, maybe a small fee.

Wow, that's like maybe 10 minutes from my house. I just bought a GP1200R that I want to put in the water this weekend.

Bring it out! There will be other GPs there also and it's always better with more.
