local VA Beach titling offices???

I have a question about getting a ski titled and registered in VA...

Do you HAVE to mail in the appropriate forms to the office in Richmond.....or are there local offices/dealers in VA Beach that can do titles/registrations.

Thanks

I'm pretty sure you *have* to mail it in. I believe you have 30 days after the date of purchase to finalize everything. Just keep your dated bill of sale as a temporary registration. Try calling these numbers for more info: (804) 367-6135 or (877) 898-2628. Download registration forms at: www.dgif.virginia.gov/forms/index.html

Re: local VA Beach titling offices???

Ive found it easier at this time of year to just drive up to richmond and walk in and do the paper work there. it wont take more than 10 minutes and there hasnt been a line the last 3 times i went up there this summer. plus if there are any questions, you wont have to wait on the mail, vereything will be done for you while you wait
