Fishing

How many of you guys regularly fish from your ski? I am looking at buying a VX Deluxe for fishing and touring the Chesapeake. Is that a good ski for around here? Top speed isn't an issue. Fish, explore and maybe take the wife and kid out tubing from time to time.

Is it crazy to leave Lynnhaven and expect to head to the Eastern shore or seagull pier and back if the weather is good?

I fish from a kayak now but am looking for more range.

Thanks,
Brian

Re: Fishing

We have two VX’s that we use in the Albemarle Sound. The only problem I have is when the chop gets a foot or so, beats the hell out of you.
