Access to Pungo Ferry/Capt George's

Looks like it's gonna be a while before anybody develops this location. I have been accessing it by lauching up river and then beaching in front of the restaurant for a break. On weekends you will usually see a dozen or so boats doing the same.

Seems to me this would be a great place to swap out riders. Is there anywhere to park if I send riders by car to meet me?

In the circle just passed capt Georges where you can turn around i've seen people park there along the grass on the side and walk down to the beach.

i doubt anyone is going to buy that place.... it needs so much work....

Started using Munden Point park last week after hearing about boaters getting cited at Capt George's. The park has a nice ramp with room to swap out riders.

There is a multi-million dollar marina being built there.

Munden's a good place to ride too
