Lake Havasu March 7-17th

We are making the long journey from Canada down to Lake Havasu to party it up and have a good time on the water. Is anyone else going to be around thats want to meet up on the water? We will be bringing down 3 ski's checking out the sight for the first time.

Is there anything going on during sping break?

Re: Lake Havasu March 7-17th

Spring break is normally between March 8-22, but especially March 15-19.
For University of Arizona, it's March 13th through the 21st.

Also, there is a "Speed Waterski" race, on Saturday, the 13th that starts out of the Nautical and heads south. It's fun to see people pulled behind 130mph boats, on one water ski.

Spring break here, can actually run into the 1st week of April as well.
I will be "prowling" around on my SeaDoo RXT-X, with my new Hero HD video camera. Mainly going to Copper Canyon, and the Sandbar.

The TV people will be here as well, filming Party Heat.
Just be very careful on the lake. A lot of drunk, first time boat operators out there. Remember, you are invisible to them.

Hug the shorelines, and be very careful crossing the lake. Don't drink and ski, and bring lots of sunscreen.

Sweet, Thanks for the info.
How far is copper canyon and the Sandbar from Havasu? I heard there are a ways south. Could we make it there and back on SXR with a full tank of gas?

There on opposite ends of the Lake. Check Google Maps. Yes, you can make it to both on one tank of gas, just don't ride flat out. Your probably looking at around 20 miles round trip if you do both.
Use Google Maps to search. There are maps of the lake online.

What/where are you riding? Rain in the forecast tomorrow. If it's not in the 70's I usually don't go out.
I have the silver SeaDoo RXT-X. I was out on Saturday.

We have 3 Kawasaki SXR's (2004 Red, 2006 Green and 2007 Red) and a Black/Red/White 2007 247 Wakesetter.

We're thinking of going out tomorrow... not sure with that cool A$$ weather forecast though. We may just go on the ski's anyway... might grab an Air Chair and take out the Malibu. We're on vacation, anything goes

It's cold/windy and getting ready to rain. I probably won't go out until Friday or Saturday, at the earliest. I just have to many things to do here.
I you get near/around Body Beach, and I happen to be outside, I can probably see you from my house, which is only about 1/4 mile away from the lake.(that's starting to sound like Sara Palins'-"I can see Russia from my house"....LOL)

Yeah, we toured Body Beach yesterday... what a maze.

Today is looking pretty miserable so far, not liking the idea of going out in that. Maybe it will get better. This weekend is looking pretty damn good though.

Heading to Body Beach within the hour. We'll be in a red Dodge Ram 2500 with 3 SXR's if you see us.

Pray for us... and our junk .
