Lake Havasu City

What's it like down there? How is the job opportunity for Real Estate / Property management?

Is it a small enough town that one or two Realtors, or any business for that matter, rules the area?

Other job opportunities??

I've been looking around the net and it doesn't seem like there is much going on there in terms of jobs.

Home prices seem to vary, property taxes seem super low.

Cost of living seems low, weather seems great. Couple of golf courses, a big lake, and lots of boating / skiing leaves only one thing needed for me... a way to make money without having to work a 9-5.

What about for living there though? Seems like a very small town....

There are a million realtors here. In the past when things were selling good, everybody and their dog was becoming a agent..

I've never seen so many "vultures" in one town.. lol

As far as living here, there are many houses for sale or rent. Actually 20% of the house in this town are for sale or rent right now.

Yeah I remember a couple of years ago my family was looking to buy a house there and the agent handling one of the houses we looked at told us that in Havasu there is 2 agents for every person.
