Winter Ride?

Anybody down for a weekend winter ride? I'm flexible with the time location. I live in Panama City Beach. Somewhere between here and Pensacola would be fine. Any ideas and input would be helpful.

Re: Winter Ride?

I ride whenever I can rain, cold snow it doesn't matter to me. The winter is better for riding because the surf is bigger and not as many people in the water here. Thanks for the invite, I 'll hit you up the next time i'm in Tampa.

Re: Winter Ride?

A few of us ride out of the Destin Pass, but I will not ride unless its above 55 degrees and sunny. We rode for a bit on New Years Eve and the weather was great. Surf was pretty good. Doesn't look promising to ride for the next 2 weeks.

Let me know the next time you guys go. I think I'm going to go to the lake Sunday, it's pretty nice it opens up to the gulf. Have you heard of Lake Powell? It's at the bridge you cross coming into Panama City Beach Fl. Here a map below..great place to ride

Re: Winter Ride?

Hey Turbo, me and another guy are thinking about coming down in March. My friend has a buddy that lives in the Pensacola area so free place to stay. Riding any good that time of year? Waves, Air Temp, Water Temp? We have never road on the ocean before.

Your in for a treat!! I have a 3-2 wet suit that I wear up to March and I feel fine in the water. Air temp 70's for the highs and 40's for the lows, water temp 60's.
