Just want to drop a hello!

Well...It's about that time. My ski has been down for a while and I finally got it up. It a SN SJ with a 701. Soon to be a limited once I get the ADA head on!! I'm friends with Tim (Octavius on this forum) and he tells me that a few of you here ride alot. I have alot of days off during the week, but my weekends are usually a no-go....except Sunday evening round 5ish. I also like to ride at Pensacola beach on the sound side...untill I get ready for surf. Also want to try this place out http://www.floridastateparks.org/biglagoon/default.cfm

Well....just chime in and let me know where everybody stands next week. Hope to meet some of you soon!

nice ski I bet that thing will smoke my 550. I've been rideing in the river alot its loads of fun long sweepers into some tight corners kinda requires you to be on your A game but alot of fun. and I realy want to do some surf rideing so if your down I'm their that would the coolest thing cuase I dont want to ride in the surf by myself so if we could get alot of people or a few we should plan some surf rideing in the near future.

Thanks for the welcome! It has a nice top end, but I'm getting blow-back out of my carb which means I have bad reeds and my low-end is not real great. I ordered some low tension Carbon Tech pedals to solve this and they should be here any day. Also am getting away from my 14/17V Skat Trak (great for top end) to a freeride swirl 12/17 to get more punch....will be doing this in the next couple of weeks.

I have always wanted to do the river , but just don't know where to go. I'm for sure up for that. I want to get in the surf ASAP, but don't want to ride by my self either....especially since I'm not that good yet. I really want to get some people together soon...even if it's not surf. Pensacola sound would be an awesome location...could even have a little cook out there! Up for any location though. My cell is 813-765-0793...my name is Jim.

BTW....Madscientist....I read one of your posts that said your wife is tired of hanging with just the guys. My girlfriend loves hanging out and she is one of those people that gets along with EVERYBODY. She's 24....loves conversing.

we will be heading out this week. weekends are out for us for a while since work and my 2 older children are home for a month but with a larger group it would be ojk.

let's do wed, at the beach time to be determined but i have to work at 4:45 at the restaraunt so probably around 11 or 12

I should be able to do Wed. I'm pretty sure my G/F is off as well. I'll let Tim (Oktavius) know and try to get ahold of Mat (another guy on this forum).
