Any scuba divers?

Just wondering if any of you dive. I usually at least two or three times a month, usually weekends.

I am not from the area, but visited the Big "O" last October while in the area for work. Very Nice, cant wait to revisit it after things start really growing, to see the difference. Shame what happened the other week to those three guys, out there. Dive Safe.

Re: Any scuba divers?

I know I'm digging up an old thread but it sparked interest. I'd been wanting to get my certification but don't have any dive buddies so I put it off. MBT Divers in Pensacola seems to be a good and cheap place for certification. One place here in Mobile wants like $500.

I have an Aquatrax so I don't own any stand-ups (let the bashing begin), but I'm always up for meeting up to go ride or maybe get certified to dive.

Dive Pros in Pensacola on 98 is where I go. Their open water cert I believe is $179 in season and $129 in the winter.

Did you go to Gulf Coast Divers in Mobile? That price seems to be about what they charge. (I used to work there.) It's not the cheapest place but they'll go out of their way to work w/ your schedule or help you with your gear.

Let me know if you want to go ride. Spring break is next week!!!
Note: I don't know if your Honda can keep up w/ my III (bad joke)
