Re: NJ boating law ???

You're good for up to 90 days with your Delaware registration and boating certificate.

Re: NJ boating law ???

It means you can ride it here up to 90 days with a Delaware registration and a Delaware boating safety certificate. If you were to rent/lease/buy a summer home for longer then 3 months, you technically would have to register it here. I really don't think you have to worry, are the marine police going to 'log' you in and keep count of the number of days you are here? I'm going up to the Finger Lakes this summer with my jet ski, and after checking New York's site for boating registration, I don't have to do anything but keep my registration and NJ safe boating certificate with me if case I get checked.

You should be fine with that license. As long as its a nationally recognized course that you took, then you'll be alright. The state police rarely pull over jet skis anyway unless your doing something stupid.

No, but not a bad idea to have insurance.

Everyone should be insured IMHO... It`s just common sense, like having insurance on your car... anything can happen at anytime...

ride smart, ride sensibly...
