Talked to some surf riders and bought some CRC silicone spray, siliconed everything and it ran fine. Ran good for one day then my homemade aluminum coupler cover broke. Tried to makeshift a new one but it didn't work so hot, everytime I got rocked by a wave and got a couple inches of water in it my coupler proceded to spray it everywhere and choked the carbs or got on whatever electrical component was giving me troubles in the first place and it would stall. Started right up again but I got sick of messing with it. My electrical is in nearly perfect condition, no spliced wires no brittle or frayed wires, salt water can be a beotch. And I have to make a new coupler cover and my bilge pump took a crap. |
