He doesnt. It was a setup between him and Harry. See, Reids popularity is waning, and with an upcoming election he needed a boost. So, Obama says something about Vegas, and that gives Reid a chance to be the crusader and speak out about it, makes him look good helping his election chances....Obama was just helping his party leader out. Thats not too far fetched really!

obama actually likes vegas very much for himself, hes used it as a reference because its natural to go to vegas to blow money, and hes trying to say now is not the time to blow money cuz there is no money

Obama is an AZZ clown….I agree…its a set up…its not just off the cuff. I just hearing it though. He also slammed boat makers…..so dont buy a bought there is no money.

Good Lord people. Take it for what it is. He is simply stating people shouldn't be blowing money when times are tough. He is not SLAMMING Las Vegas or boat makers, he is just stating that people need to prioritze and not spend dough on Vegas hookers and crack or luxury items like boats when they should be paying their mortgage or saving for their kids college tuition.

I don't agree with Nobama on a lot of things, but he is right on the money with this one.

He has the discretionary income, and is financially secure. Most Americans are not. Most Americans make stupid financial decisions everyday. Buying or Leasing a brand new car = dumb. Buying whole life insurance = dumb. Paying the min on their credit cards = dumb. Thinking they 'owe' themselves a vacation even though they are living paycheck to paycheck = dumb.

It's about time someone said "Hey stupid, don't spend it if you ain't got it".

(And, yes I understand the irony/hypocracy in this considering the Government breaks this rule every day)

the government doesnt have it, but he sure is spending it...
