I was just thinking of grabbing one for the 550 engine I am building for Cheree. Getting sick of using regular bns on it.

Re: looking for an sbn 44

yeah it needs to go. And one of the engines I have here looks good on stock bore and really clean pistons, Seems to spec within limits so just crank seals, gasket kit, and rings to go with honing and mild porting. Oh and I need to get the flywheel lightened, can't believe places charge $75. I used to have hook ups with machinists and would pay a 12 pack for it in the past or just use their machines.

Re: looking for an sbn 44

Maybe you can get Woog to lighten it for you. He told me he is equiped to turn brake rotors on his truck. I couldn't imagine it being much different. lol
