Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge pics
Soon you will no longer have to take the slow windy road across the dam, you will zip by in less than a minute. Truck traffic thru BC is going to skyrocket. Check out the badazz pictures:

I saw when they started a few years back. What a feat of engineering. I cant believe they have potapotty's on the archway...LOL!!

Completion is supposed to be next year. It looks alot different now the 4 tall temporary concrete support towers have been removed as well as all the support cables that held up the arch as they moved up pouring small sections at a time. The arch now supports itself so the road deck construction across the span has begun. Shawn you should have seen those porta potties at the mid stages of the build they looked pretty precarious up there I am sure they had to be tied down because you know the wind will take one of those right over!
