Who is going to be at round 3 in Rotorua...I will be there represeting on the GS as I was at Stump Bay..

LAKE ROTOMA, ROTORUA


Scrutineering: 7.00 – 8.00 am

Riders Briefing: 8.30 am Sharp

Racing Starts: 9.30 am Sharp


• There will be no food on site, however the Rotoma Trading Post (known as G.A.S. – Gasoline Alley Services) which is on SH30, on the edge of the lake and about 3km back from our race site, will be open from 6.30am to 7pm on the Friday and 7.am to 7.pm on Sat and Sun. As well as that, the Artizan Café, which provides excellent food and is situated right next to the Rotoma Trading Post will be open from 10am to 8pm.

• HBJSC will however be putting on a sausage sizzle at the end of racing to fill in time whilst the final placings and certificates are being organised.

• Prize Giving will be held at the Lake Venue after the event.

• Camping is available adjacent to the race site at a charge of $2 per person. This land is privately owned and the owners have set this charge to cover maintenance costs. However, for those who prefer a few home comforts,
accommodation is available at the Kawerau Thermal Motel, Tamarangi Drive,
Kawerau where a number of Hawke’s Bay Club members will be staying.

• Please post your entry forms in ASAP – payment doesn’t have to be made till the day, but early registration helps towards getting the day off to an early start, hence enabling four rounds to be run. (Send to Meg Webb, 906 Harding Road, Hastings or email thewebbs@xtra.co.nz with entry details).

o There will be a demonstration “3D” event at lunch time for any one who has one and wants to take part! Just for fun…

How was it?

Mat101 and me were there havin a look. Saw Sam Harvey there and everyone else. thought the pro 850 and novice was amusing with the experts on spx's and a few novices on rxp's and ultra 250's!!!

The standup race was pretty entertaining too! didn't take much to say the sxr with the RR pole would win!

looked like a sweet day!
