Inner Harbour Riding?

Is it legal to use Jet Skis in Aucklands Inner Harbour?

I am living out Beach Haven ways (North Shore by Birkenhead) and would be keen to go for a ride after work etc from the Island Bay ramp.

I have recently moved up from down south so not too sure what the local rules and regs are.

Any help appreciated!

Re: Inner Harbour Riding?

Jet skis are allowed in the harbour. There is a 15 knot restriction though... See PDF

Re: Inner Harbour Riding?

Cheers for that.

Reading the PDF and looking at the map it looks like the restriction only applies from roughly north head to the harbour bridge. So further in should be good to go.
