Well found a new winter project now. Damn that looks fun. Wonder what they coated it with to make it slippery?

You can't do a backflip off it. Mainly because you can't get any acceleration thrust off the ramp which is necessary for a backflip. I agree though, looks like some hard plastic sheeting covering it. Probably a bunch of plastic barrels for flotation. The hard part will be getting it to the location where you want to drop it in the water. Transportation will be the key factor limiting it's size.

Did some quick research and it does look like plastic and I can get 4x8 sheets of plastic also I could set it in with our forklift or overhead hoist. The wheels are turning now.

I knew you would lend a hand. Oh, I'm thinking we need to place it in at least 10 to 15 ft of water.

If you build it ill try the flip. might end up for some good wreck footage but if its got that much vert and height id pour on the speed and muscle attempt it.

I'll help. You could build it on that platform where Jerry Herson used to land his helicopter on the other side of our bulkhead ...just a thought.
