Public docking?

Does anyone know of public docking space in Ocean City, MD? I wouldn't mind tying up for awhile and sampling a few of the local establishments !!

Re: Public docking?

There isn't any public docking to my knowledge, but there are a bunch of places where you can dock and eat. If you go under the rt 50 inlet bridge. There are a few places along the side you can stop at one is on 22nd st, Can't remember the name, but they have a ramp there too. Seacrets isn't too far from the bridge. While they don't have a dock, you can beach your PWC, or anchor it while you go in to eat.

Re: Public docking?

Do any marina's let you tie up overnight? I'd like to come down for a weekend and just leave the ski in the water, if possible.

Re: Public docking?

Not sure on that one. I used to rent a row house on 31st street that was on the water. $600 for the week, I'd drop the skis in, tie them up to the dock behind the house and go for a ride whenever I felt like it all week long.

Re: Public docking?

I don't know of any Public places to dock over night. Most marinas are privately owned, but do offer overnight docking for a fee. Bayside jet drive on 52nd, water ways on 54th, sharks cove marina, and Paradise water sports @ hoopers all offer docking services by the night for skis. Most jet ski rental places are closed for the season and the skis are pulled out leaving a lot of empty sportport docks around town. If this is something that interest you pm me and I can set up a spot.

Re: Public docking?

Thanks for the info. I was actually looking ahead to next summer..... I'd like to get down to OCMD for a couple of weekends and was hoping to just leave the ski in the water.
