Was this a good deal?

98' superjet
Dual carbs,
R&D head 180psi both cylinders
Dual Cooling
Factory B pipe Limited
Carbon Fiber Extended Ride plate
Carbon Fiber Hull Extensions
UMI Steering assy
Pole Shortened 2in
R&D Tubbies (one is broken)
Lightened Flywheel
Converted to Smaller Billet Kawasaki Coupler
ProTec Flame Arrestors
MSD enhancer

Fresh build last winter with new crank.

All it needs is a replacement tubbie (although I might just take the other one off and put it back to stock), 2 motor mounts are broken, and a lot of cleaning.(followed by a killer wrap by ghostrider)

It's in rough shape... but it runs good, and I can easily clean it up. Traded that 94 blaster I bought last week for $800, and gave him $800. Despite the rough shape do think it's a good deal for $1600? (yes it has a clean title)

Re: Was this a good deal?

hell yea that's a good deal. the outside is nothing but cosmetic. as long as that thing runs good that was a steal. has a ton of aftermarket parts that are atleast worth 2 grand itself.

Haha, I see a PPS sticker on there. Throwback.

Man, you've got a winter project ahead of you. That head pipe worries me a little, and def gotta ditch the cart tank. I have a black dash if you need one.

BTW, they are Prok Flame arrestors.

Re: Was this a good deal?

yeah i would be a little scared of that. looks to be a hit or a miss. it would be a nice project but i would be scared that taking it apart and trying put it back together would end up in a lot of stuck or broken bolts that will drive you insane. if it starts right up, your ahead of the game.

Re: Was this a good deal?

Yep, I got it from Glen. A little glass work and TLC, I'll have this puppy all ready for next season. MDstandup hit on my main fear about it....how many blots will break off during the teardown? Only time will tell. lol

Re: Was this a good deal?

Yep, I can see rock creek from my deck. I keep my skis down by the bay bridge, but I'm sure I will be dropping this one in either Rock or Stony creek a lot next year.
