*foot straps*

got a quick question for you guys that use foot straps on your blasters and stand ups. i'm looking into getting the dakine foot straps for a blaster of mying i'm redoing and wanted to know if they were really worth it and made that big of a difference. will they be in the way if i'm just freeriding and not always in the surf?

Re: *foot straps*

I never put them on my blaster because I don't see a need unless you are rolling or backflipping. They also would be completely in my way other than when jumping. I've been past vertical and never slipped off. My 2 cents.

Yea, but it's not like a stand up where the handlepole moves. As long as you're holding the bars, your feet should still be in the tray. I know you said you set yours up to where they can come on and off pretty easily though.

Re: *foot straps*

dont know on a B1 yet but i know on my Honda i wish i had them for doing nose stabs. my foot would slip out and sometimes feel like i was going to blow my knee out. i figured a) i already had them i stole off a old windsurf board and b) if they are in the way id take them off. just two holes on either side of the turf mat. but i guess it could look nasty if you took them off another ski.

I can't wait to get my new GP hull out in the surf. I love doing nose stabs on that thing.
