Re: Welcome to Space Coast Ski Club

Dont you mean the lack of places to ride?
The river is not so fun for a stand up.
Sebastian Inlet is 30 miles away but worth the trip.

If you know other places, please share.

Re: Welcome to Space Coast Ski Club

I ride in the river all the time on my stand up and have a blast! Come out sometime to the boat ramp on the corner of US1 and Pineda - It's cool to just ride and hang out with other people. Hit me up with a PM here and I'll give you my number if you're ever looking for a riding buddy - I'll go out anytime as long as it's after work or on a weekend. I've even been known to take a personal day here and there to ride!

Re: Welcome to Space Coast Ski Club

where is kelly park? N or S of pineda - how far? I like the ramp by the bridge for a few reasons:

1 - new and deep, you won't suck junk up when you're putting in, and you won't be spinning your tires in sand or burning rubber on old concrete covered in moss

2 - right by the bridge means you can always find a patch of smooth water to play on in one of the corners of the river

3 - it's freakin' hilarious to watch the weekend warriors put their giant boats in for the first time all year. Half the time, they haven't started it since last year and they're really surprised when it doesn't start right back up after putting it away wet after last year and doing nothing to it all winter/spring! All the money in the world can't buy you common sense!

And 4 - I don't know where kelly park is

Folks,

I'd love to hit Kelly Park or Pineda if you guys are hitting the waves anytime soon. What else is fun around here?

Re: Welcome to Space Coast Ski Club

I"m doing the pineda thing today (Sunday) probably around 1 - have to change and I want to pick up another jug of salt-a-way and some new plugs, but as soon as i"m done with that, I'll be on the water! Hope to see someone

If anyone ever wants to ride with someone - PM me and let me know when - I'm a teacher and I'm free pretty much all the time until August I'll also ride anywhere, anytime, with anyone, so don't be shy
