Space Coast FL Head count? Standups B1's X2's

Just curious how many standup/blaster/x2 riders we have on here........It realy seems to be blowin up around here!

Everyone should fill out there profiles too while your at it. See exactly where everyone lives, and it helps to get to know everyone as well with having a little back round info.

Re: Space Coast FL Head count? Standups B1's X2's

I don't get too much into the profile stuff - reminds me too much of Myspace. I'll dish out a little intro though -
My name is Barrett, I'm an elementary school teacher - live in SB, work in viera, ride mostly in the river right by pineda and US1. I ride an SXR that has become all but stock (It's in tiny pieces now until Tuesday ) before my SXR I rode an 89 650 which is still sitting out back not working (yet!)

I ride year round, at least 3 times a week when I'm working, 6 days a week when I'm off (and the ski is working) and during the coldest months, I'm still out there at least twice a week. Sometimes I bring a buddy, but usually I'm out there alone.

Also, due to the fact that the only mechanic I trust is over an hour and a half away, I've learned to do a lot of my own work. Some lessons are more expensive than others

When I'm not riding or working, I'm usually out shooting pool and drinking beer at one of the local haunts. A good time is had by all...

One stand-up noob at a few years past prime. I look forward to hitting the water someday soon. I liberate my ski on Friday!

you're just jealous of my writing skills Saturday is still on, right? If all goes well, I'll have my ski in the water tomorrow and have it broken in by Thursday afternoon and ready to go!

Re: Space Coast FL Head count? Standups B1's X2's

Had a 440/550 as a teen. Then i had a child and went 18 years without a watercraft. Three years ago bought a 650SX. New pump work and SBT motor.
Early this year bought a sea couch for my daughter. My wake maker.
Last week bought an SJ. Still haven't tested it.

Saturday is ON....for Pineda Causeway, this is on US1 at the river.

How does the AM work for all? Does it get too choppy mid-afternoon, anyone?

It will probably be noone bfore I get out there Depending on the wind direction, the SEcove is usualy shelterd by the wind. Im just not in to sialboats, and ramp traffic, that is why we go to the SE cove. Go Under the bridge to the south side after launching from the ramp, then go to the SE cove, "right were you would get off for Tropical trail" if coming over Pineda from US1 .
