I was a member there for a little while. They do a lot of good things - park clean ups, bar b q''s, stuff like that, but when they ride, they always do super long rides. On a stand up, that means I'm staying behind...

Cool people though - always doing good things and always on the up and up. Definately in it to grow the sport. We just need a parallel club for stand-up riders, or a bunch of us to join that one together so I'm not the only one left behind when they take off from melbourne to ride to sebastian.

Hey guys...

We (OWR) do rides at Ponce every few weeks and do mostly wave jumping while there. You are always welcome to join us. We may confiscate your standups since none of us have ridden one... Nothing like seeing a couchie try and ride a standup huh? :P

i'm not into the groups with the big skis, Just like you said, they always want to go fast and far and when you ride stand up it's uncomfortable.

I bought my couch so my daughter can make wakes for me.

Ok so we have at least me Bat and Felix. I thought there was one other guy. According to the latest issue of "Water Craft", only 3% of ski heads are capable of stand up performances ;P

I get my ski outta the shop on Friday 21 July. You guys want to try Friday evening waves or Sat/Sun. I am for sure hitting the river on 22 or 23 July.

I"d like to try ponce one day pretty soon - and I'm always up for showing a 'couchie' how to stand - it's way easier than you'd think. It's the turning and jumping that's harder (and I'm still having trouble landing!)

Im down for riding whenever! I gots a B1, two friends with SJ's and one with a SXR. Im a slacker, I got 2 weeks still before im ready, but I got good friends and they let me rip the SJ's.
