Weather for Saturday....

Saturday...
...more of the same with ridge and precipitable water axis remaining over
western New England. Therefore risk of heavy showers and thunderstorms
greatest across western portions of CT/Massachusetts and southwest New Hampshire. Elsewhere
shower and thunderstorm activity should be more scattered to perhaps just
isolated across Rhode Island and eastern Massachusetts. Warm and muggy conditions
continue.

Surf...
swells from Bill will increase to about 10 feet just offshore yielding
dangerous surf and rip currents at area beaches Saturday and Sunday.
Expect swimming restrictions or beach closures this weekend...
especially from Cape Cod to the Rhode Island coast. If a tropical
storm watch is not issued for a portion of the coastline later
today...then a high surf advisory will likely be issued.
