Warning: Tauntron River (Maybe)

Drove by the Girl's club where across the street is a railraod trestle jammed with big logs of driftwood which is upstream from Slip's ramp. They were removing the driftwood with a crane today and don't know if they're being careful and preventing chunks from floating downstream. Don't know if I'm paranoid but as I've written befiore I totaled a 2007 RXP on the river on what I believe was a semi submerged deadhead. I wanted to take a river run this afternoon but I'm skeered now.

Thanks for the heads up.

I can't believe it took them all summer to clean that up. Its a Kayaker's nightmare.

Yeah the local rag said a kayaker got stuck and swamped there and had to be rescued. Rode the river from Slips down to Tiverton Friday afternoon and saw one big branch about 12 feet long. Doubt it came from them removing the trash but you never know.

I thought the 260X was going to pull that sucker out, they took all the fun out of logging.

I will never forget the time you pulled that tree out of the river with your STXR. That had to be 1-1/2 foot in diameter and 20 feet long.

Saw alot of rope and yellow line in water , the other night always bring a big knife or tow doo , to get you to ramp.
