Thanks Riva stage 1.....GPS results, happy.

OPAS block offs and Riva stage one kit installed by Mr Marky Moto (thank you) made me smile today...... as great as these mods the splash guard was as good if not better of a mod

I know its not dead nuts accurate but one way I got .02 slower then the other way against current so I believe it is close to accurate. Before mods would read 66+ range max....have tested this gps in cars against speedo and its spot on.

Pic attached, timex ironman gps watch with transponder set to record "Max speed" of the day.... went from 3rd beach to taunton river and back.... choppy soup most of the way but some flat ripple closer to Ma/Taunton...

$ to gain I am pleased but this is it for me, plenty quick.... but had to admit if I could have ran mid 70's think the smile would have lasted a bit longer.....would take stage 2 or 3 for that and just not going to dump that into the ski. Only my second run of the year.... wish I had more time.

this with 2/3 full gas.... once I got lower on gas (near 1/4 tank) conditions where I was would not allow for another high speed run... I know many quicker ski's but not today.... put to reest a few that tried to keep up and walked a few larger power boats along the way.... 06 RXT is a decent size ski so happy could get such mass going. out of the gate also noticed a difference....

Loooking forward to BI trip..... Who is IN!!!!

yes I know, use to have the Ultra 150 with shreadmaster, solas prop, worx etc, and few other things and was a fun, light ski.... the RXT is like a couch strapped to a small rocket

To be honest, I feel a BIG difference with the OPAS at higher speeds the ski does not track or pull to one side or another as much, so on that it is great. But at slow slow speeds the ski does not turn, at all..... use to turn with light throttle but now OPAS gone need to give it a little extra burst or it just does not turn. That is the trade off I have found and I am OK with it, I would take the control at higher speeds over lower speed ability to turn tight anyday....

ski has roughly 30hrs, and have had it three seasons....
