Was cruising the Taunton River Sunday late afternoon and saw what I thought was a snapping turtle. Went over to chack it out and it was an 8 foot log about 10 inches thick. It was bobbing on end and I went to grab it to get it outta there. It was low tide and when I wrapped my hand around it it hit bottom. This is the same Area where I totaled my 07 RXP last year near the white and blue docked GTX and that high granite block wall. This spot on the river might be a choke point for trash like this so maybe we should watch it there.
