Just did it today. SWEET! Went down to Greenwich. We ran into the water cop at the Tiverton no wake zone. He's got a big ole belly and glasses as I recall. Real friendly and said. " I don't want to see them but do you have reg and extinguisher since you're from MA? Told him yup and wasn't lying and he said have fun and be safe! So don't worry about or pull an attitude with this guy. He's alright. Glad I didn't because I didn't have ID. I found this out when I opened my mail after getting home from riding and my license was in an envelope with no return address. Wish they gave it 'cause I'd send a 20 or something. My bud asked the cop about the rebuild of the Sakonnett River bridge and the cop said 2 years and done in 2011. The whole thing will have one built next to it and the old one demolished. Now that will be a time for a ride! Next year the whole river from the ramp to Tiverton will be a construction zone with Brightman going on forever, the Sakonnett bridge in progress and they just started driving piles at Berkley. Anyway, when are you going? Might make it. |
