| Re: Session You guys should come out and play with us. We ride pretty much all salt water on sit downs. We always welcome new people on the ride on whatever ya got. We do: Taunton River => Battleship Cove => Fogland and/or Mount Hope Bridge and/or Newport and/or open Atlantic. Ipswich River => Cranes Beach => Plum Island and/or Merrimack River and/or Wingersheek Beach and/or Essex River. Hampton Beach (need I say more). Horseneck Beach...... Scituate Harbor => Minot Lighthouse. Boston Harbor => everywhere around there. Day trips to Block Island. And, we're always looking for new places to ride and we don't mind driving, but they got to be worth going there and putting in (i.e. big enough to blast around at over 70mph - and not just in circles).
Yes, Indian Lake used to have PWC races. I know, been there done that. Salisbury, MA had one 6/27 & 6/28/09. I raced on the CT River by Hartford and Bridgeport, Warwick and Misquamicut, RI, Heritage State Park at Battleship Cove (next to the USS Massachusetts). Lake Champlain, VT, A bunch of places in NH. I'm sure I'm missing some NE venues. The rest was Region 8 such as Maryland, Virgina, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, etc, then there was Nashville, TN for the Nationals and Lake Havasu, AZ for the World Finals. We used to set up bouys at Lake Sabbatia at exit 9 on I-495 to practice when I was racing. No one bothered us there. Then I retired after 2006 World Finals and 17 yrs of watercross. |
