Labor Day Buzzards Bay run

heading out from Fairhaven monday noonish. Maybe for Cuttyhunk, if the waters calm maybe down to Nomans island for some exploring. Had a blast last sunday after the storm, the water was like glass and I had the throttle pinned all the way to Oak Bluffs. Anyone interested or suggestions?

I am taking the kids to Edaville Railroad to see Thomas the Tank Engine on Monday.

Where in Fairhaven do you leave from?

Edaville is a great time for the fam, the kids always love Thomas.

I prefer to drop at Pease Ramp but if I don't see the boat fuzz docked across the river I leave from Hoppys on West Island to avoid the possible hassle. I'm hopin for a nice calm day again but if not there are usually decent waves off West Island.

kinda, it's about a mile SE of there. There are about 4 marinas surrounding the Foxy. It's all about location.

Re: Labor Day Buzzards Bay run

I did a construction project that I was responsible for for New Bedford Housing that covered 9 sites. Every Friday after about 11:00 A.M. the crews were no where to be found. I overheard the guys talking about the "Gentlemen's" club and put 2 and 2 together. Went over to Pope's Island where the club is and there were all the contractor's trucks!
