Surf Riding Oceanside

So if any of you ride out of the oceanside harbor which i know alot do, out of the channel how far north do you have to ride to be able to go in the surf, and how do i know im in the right spot???? THANKS

Ride at your own risk. It is illegal. Anywhere along camp pendleton.

there is legal spots, i know its about 20 mins north of a ride. its not illegal everywhere, which is why im asking

I would stay away from Goverment Land what about south from Ocean side how far can you go that way?

People say that you can't legally ride off of any beach but pismo

i know you can north, because people tow in surf, thats how i first heard about it.
There is no where south that you can ride from oceanside, unless you go to mexico, which is not happening. All i heard someone say is that its about 20 minutes north of a ride. Ive heard it from a pro surfer that tow in surfs and few random jetskiiers ive met, just want to know where exactly.
