Point Loma trouble

Those of you who ride Ralphs (near light house), I wanted to know if any of you have had any problems with harbor patrol or coast guard. I know the surfers will throw fingers, but was curious if Americas finest gave anyone a good talk or a nice big ticket for Christmas.

Re: Point Loma trouble

I have ridden Ralphs for many years.
Lately SD Lifeguard PWC's with bodyboards show up after being called by the CG Lighthouse just above Ralph's.
I stayed to talk with one last summer and he said "NO RIDING PWC HERE because of the submerged rocks and the "many rescues" they've had to do at this exact location".
Newbies on PWC are the problem there...they have NO IDEA what they are doing.
We can *play* there for about 20 minutes max before we leave *in-a-hurry* cuz the SD Lifeguard PWC's are coming down from Mission Beach jetty a WOT..we can see them coming and leave
And now with the "coastal surveillance" cameras, they have your hull numbers to call to the Harbor Patrol awaiting you in SD Bay as you Ride in.
BIG BROTHER IS HERE
