Here from Idaho

Hey guys my brother and I drove from Idaho to LA today with our stand-ups in hopes of riding in the ocean. I read some old threads where you guys gave visitors advice that really help us to get prepared for this trip so thanks. We are staying in Culver City so were going to try Marina Del Ray since its right next door even though it sound like its not really the best. Then one day were going to try to make it to oceanside. From what I've gathered the best thing to do there is go about 2 miles north up the coast?

It would be cool if we could meet up with somebody here but well be riding Mon Tue Wed of next week so I figured most people have jobs and responsibilities they'll be taking care of so at any rate I just wanted to let you guys know that were here. I appreciate the info I've been able to gather from ya and any other info is appreciated. Thanks

Well you picked a good time. I was in the water trunking it for several hours both Sat and Sun up here in the Ventura South Coast area, the water is super warm right now, much warmer than it was in mid Aug for sure. Weather has been decent as well. If you wonder up this way shoot me a PM.

Re: Here from Idaho

Just wanted to let ya'll know that we had a blast in Southern California. The rain strom that came through kinda sucked but it sure mad for some big waves. We went to Ventura Harbor our first day and liked it so we ended up going there the rest of the time. Thanks!
